Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 June 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are a legal agreement between you and RESTASSURE AI LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”), the company that operates Venu. By joining the waitlist, messaging Venu, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Venu.
How we handle your personal data is explained separately in our Privacy Policy.
2. Who can use Venu
You may use Venu only if you:
- are aged 18 or over;
- are a current student at a university we have launched at; and
- can confirm this with a valid university email address.
Venu is a students-only service. We may verify your eligibility and may decline or end access if we cannot.
3. What Venu does
Venu is a concierge. You tell it what you are looking for; it suggests a person it judges you are compatible with, proposes a time you are both free, and recommends a real venue near campus. Venu helps you arrange to meet — it does not attend, supervise, or take part in your meetings.
Venue suggestions are recommendations only. Unless we clearly tell you otherwise at the time, Venu does not make a booking or reservation on your behalf, and does not guarantee a table, entry, price, or availability.
4. Messaging
Venu works by text message. By giving us your number and messaging Venu, you consent to exchange messages with the service. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP; we may still send you essential service messages where permitted.
5. Your responsibilities
When you use Venu, you agree to:
- give accurate information about yourself and your eligibility;
- use Venu only for its intended purpose, and not for any unlawful, harmful, or commercial purpose;
- treat other people with respect, and not harass, threaten, deceive, or abuse anyone you are matched with;
- not impersonate anyone or misuse another person’s information; and
- not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or put others at risk.
6. Safety and meeting other people
Venu introduces you to other people, but we do not run background or identity checks on users and we do not vet venues for safety. You are responsible for your own decisions about who you meet and where.
Please take sensible precautions: meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, and stop if you feel uncomfortable. You meet other users at your own risk, and any interaction or meeting is between you and the other person.
7. No guarantee of matches or outcomes
We do our best to make good matches, but we do not guarantee that you will be matched, that a match will reply or show up, or that any meeting or relationship will result. Matching depends on who else is using Venu and on compatibility.
8. Venue information
Information about venues is provided to help you choose where to meet and comes in part from third parties such as Google. It is provided “as is” and may be incomplete or out of date. We are not affiliated with, and do not endorse, the venues we suggest, and we are not responsible for your experience there.
9. Intellectual property
Venu, including its name, branding, design, and software, belongs to RESTASSURE AI LTD or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Venu for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, or exploit any part of it without our permission.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Venu is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the conduct of other users or of venues. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Venu at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop offering the service.
12. Changes
We may update the service and these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. If you keep using Venu after a material change, you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
